6 mo. post-op bleeding?

I am 6 mo. post-op. I had TAH/BSO. I had a wonderful recovery. One week post-op, I was allowed to go back to work part time. The only problem I have had up to now is that I am still a bit swollen in the belly (maybe it's just fat, but I don't want to believe it!) My question is this: Last night, I had intercourse for the first time since my surgery. I started bleeding afterward. Not badly, but more than just a little spotting. I feel a little "crampy" today, but not major pain, just a hint of cramps. Has anyone else had this happen? Is it possible that I am having some sort of complication at this late date? The intercourse was not at all painfull, so it really makes no sense to me. Any help would be very appreciated!

6 mo. post-op bleeding?

Granulation Tissue is something that can form on the cuff and cause bleeding exp after intercourse.
Your Dr can cauterize the area which usually clears up the problem. There have been several post here on the Road about it . If you use the search function and type in KEYWORD "Granulation" you should be able to pull up several posts from others. Please let your Doc know so he can find out what is going on. Keep us posted and hope you feel better soon
