Bedroom topic

Its 6 weeks post op. Dr has given me the ok.
I am worried things are not healed in there. How do you know?

Re: Bedroom topic

I used the "Baby steps" approach. Starting with cuddling and moving on really slowly from there, almost as if we were dating again? No immediate "home runs", if that makes sense? In a way, I felt almost like I was a virgin again, because I was that anxious about the "first time".
Going slowly gave me time to check my body's reaction, and be comfortbale with moving on to the next step. Having said that, I found my doc was right, and I was healed and ready, and I enjoyed it. Good luck.

Re: Bedroom topic

I'm not there yet, but agree with what Ansie says - baby steps, work up to things slowly - and be sure DH (or DBF) understands BEFORE hand that if things are uncomfortable or hurt, you may need to stop with that part of things. there are other alternatives to get/give some relief if need be.

good luck!

Re: Bedroom topic

My doctor said I am healed and has given me the green light for next week. I am anxious too and will be taking those tiny steps and will go slowly.
I agree with what Ansie said too. Good luck!
