impatient patient!

Can anyone tell me how long the swelly belly, mutilated, badly stuffed teddy bear look, lasts for?
I'm now 3 weeks post op and its so depressing to look down and see all this!!
also, i have low back pain and i wonder if its associated with the op?
I had hoped to bounce back much quicker than this!

Lol Great way to describe it! I am almost 8 weeks, and still am dealing with pretty bad swelly belly. I am wondering the same as you, just trying to ignore it at this point and hope it goes away when I'm not paying attention.....It does take a while to recover from this surgery, looking bad I'm sooo much better now than I was at 3 weeks, after about 4 weeks you'll really start to feel alot better. Hang in there and rest, that will help you the most.
