Re: Any other Kindle owners?

This has been the best investment for my recovery!! DH got one for me for Christmas and I wasn't sure if I'd like it. Now I'm addicted! I read the entire Hunger Games trilogy and I'm only 1 week post op. Since I BAWLED my eyes out at the ending, I've moved on to much lighter chick lit, like "Slim to None" and "Misery Loves Cabernet" I'd love to trade good e-reader book suggestions! Still quite a few weeks of recovery left.

Re: Any other Kindle owners?

I have a Nook and I love it! I have bought several books but most have been free through Barnes and Nobles. I also download alot through the library.

I have a second generation Kindle I got a couple of years ago. Would totally be lost without it!

Re: Any other Kindle owners?

I love mine, but am not a fan of paying +/- $10 to read a new release. I try to stick to the free books but that's getting harder to do. I will allow myself to buy a $.99-$2 ebook every now and then. I really wish ebooks weren't so expensive!

Any other Kindle owners?

My brother got me a basic Kindle for Christmas last year and I love it! I am continually amazed at how quickly books download on it. I've never had any problems with it not working properly. My mom has a Kindle touch and loves hers as well. We were both adamant that we loved actual books and would never get e-readers. We were both given Kindles as gifts and don't know how we got by without them.

Mischief586, I felt the same way, I wasn't going to go e-reader and I bought one knowing I could return it within 90 days - I still have mine! LOL
