Re: No sleep?

You are still fairly early post op. Sleep was one of the things I found lacking during my early months post op. Did you keep your ovaries? If not, are you on ert? If you'll share some more info, perhaps we can help and provide you with the proper information and guidance.

Re: No sleep?

I am nearly two months post- op and have only just started sleeping properly. I have both ovaries, but they are beginning to shut down-I have menopause symptoms and I have days and nights whyen I am very less than my best-including insomnia. I am taking Menopace Plus and Starflower oil , which seem to help- I am sleeping better now, so yes, I would say that insomnia is a symptom of menopause- but, with the right treatment, it can go away.
Hope you feel better soon,

hugs,
'Kat

Re: No sleep?

Since my hysterectomy my ovaries have quite working & am now in menopause. And yes, my inability to sleep has really increased. That is one of the 1st things I noticed.

Re: No sleep?

I've been taking Estroven PM (over the counter) and this has helped. I still have some night when sleep just won't come. But in general I'm doing much better.
