pain 7 mths po

Hi Ladies:

I had my surgery 7 months ago and for about the last week ive been having pain in my pelvic area. My freind who is 8 mths po started having the same type of pains a few weeks ago. Any one else have this? Could it be scar tissue? Thats our theory but we are wondering about other women. Other than that I am doing great, never felt better. Thanks for all your help and to all of you recently punctured princesses, it does get better, just be sure you dont over do it.

Hi Conni

I'm a little further along in my recovery than you are, 10 months on the 14th, but I cannot say that I remember having the same type of pain as you're describing. Hopefully, someone will come along soon with answers for you.

Wishing you the best of luck

I am quite a bit farther along than you, was 2 years post op at the beginning of September. I had alot of pelvic pain after my hyster and my resulted in being bladder troubles. It sounds like what you are describing could very well be adhesions. I think this is definitely something that you should let your doctor be aware of.

Hope that you get to feeling better very soon.

(((Conni)))

I'm 10 months post-op and i was in soo much pain i ended up in the ER sat. nite they pumped me full of morphine! I do have a cyst on the lft ovary my pain is all through the pelvic area! My dr' is going to do an emergency Laparoscopy this week!
Yes i believe it could be scar tissue! ! If its really painfil go to your gyn ask for an ultrasound just to see if thier is any growths in there! The only way to find adhesions is through a laparascopy!
Good luck and tons of 's your way!
Love Colette
