8 days out, blood clot, light bleeding

I had a TLH (took cervix so I have a cuff) on the 17th, some bleeding in hospital and light (just when I wiped) first day home, then nothing. So maybe I overdid it today-a small load of laundry (no lifting-serious-I live in an apartment building and have my laundry in a light cart on wheels) and a walk around the neighborhood, no pain meds, just a bit achy and feel fine other wise but I had a small blood clot and am getting bright red blood when I wipe. Anyone else have bleeding a week later? Guess I oughta slow down

Yes, but no clots. If bleeding doesn't slow down or get lighter in color call dr-even if it's midnight!

Thanks-I'm still bleeding but it doesn't even get to the pad-just when I wipe-nothing much. Guess I'll slow down darn it!

Re: 8 days out, blood clot, light bleeding

About a week post-op I passed a clot, had some light bleeding when I wiped but nothing reached the pad. The Dr told me that might happen, so I didn't worry. Okay, I did worry, but I kept an eye on it and if it had gotten worse, I would have called him.

Tomorrow will be week 5 for me and I'm still working hard to not overdo stuff. Its not easy, but it is necessary.
