I heard from Jennie's dh

Remember the post I started about Ovarian Cancer and the concerns that my friend, Jennie, was having? (Later Jennie did post and you all were fabulous!) Well I got word from her dh that she had BOTH ovaries removed yesterday and the dr said that there is no visual signs of cancer! Yahoo! Now to see how the pathology results come back. Thanks to everyone for all of your support and concern for her!!

Thats wonderful news Cyd!!
Thanks for the update.
I hope this puts an end to the pain she has been going through, and I will keep Jennie in my thoughts and prayers that nothing is found in the pathology tests and hopefully she won't have to wait too long for the results. We all sure know the waiting is the worst part!
Hugs!!

THank you all so much for the kind words! I was released from the castle yesterday. I had a long talk with my doc before going home. Pathology found no signs of cancer!!! Although if I had listened to the doctors and not my own body I would have had to face endometrial cancer down the road. That was where I was actually headed. I just had no idea such a thing existed. But by removing my ovaries and tubes and all visible signs of the endo I should be safe from that now. I am sore, physically and mentally drained but oh so happy. Thank you all again.
