Pudendal Nerve problems for 2 yrs

Hi,
I have beendiagnosed with Pudendal Nerve problems for 2 yrs. I received physical therepy for 1 1/2 yrs. It helped somewhat to "release" the muscles that were in spasm and also to stretch them. However, my stress levels were so high at the time that no amount of therapy was going to help. I kept backsliding. I finally had two rounds of blocks about 6 weeks apart last Oct and December and it was a miracle. Pain just about gone. My pain was internal and deep and no pain sitting or walking, etc. HOWEVER, the pain started to come back, sex was impossible again and went for my third round of steriod block (injection in both buttocks). I was numb from the lidocaine for over 3 days which was highly unusual. While numb I had this crazy sensation to itch, rub, maybe trying to "unfreeze it" I don't know, it was just so odd. I then became unfrozen from the lidocaine and BOOM, the pain in the clitoris (hypersensitive to the point of hurting) and the tingling, burning on the side of the outside labia and where my left groin area runing down my leg was so sore to touch it was like no pain I have felt. I constantly feel like I have a yeast infection but I don't think it's that. MY QUESTION: Has anyone else experience symptoms that worsen after they receive the blocks. I am so depressed. I could deal with inner pudendal nerve pain but now it's outside, itchy, burny, tingling and I feel like it's FROM the block. Did this procedure possibly cause PUDENDAL ENTRAPMENT? The doctor who is renowned had alook and said things look normal, said it sometimes can happen that after blocks a Post pudendal block pain can happen and to wait. It doesn't seem to be getting any better. Very scared. I have gone on every site on the internet to find out about post pain after a block. NOthing. Please help if you feel like ME!!

thank you so much,
Mimi58

I had something very similar. I got out of it by chiropractic adjustments on my hips. I wonder if my si joints were jammed in there wrong compressing a nerve. Compressit it did. 6 months of hip adj. finally fixed it plus otc progesterone cream twice a day
