Inguinal Endometriosis

Hi Ladies!! It's been a while since I have been on here. I had my hysterectomy back in 07. Left my ovaries. Had my left ovary removed in 08 because of endo and had been doing GREAT up until about a month ago.

I started getting really bad stomach doubling over pains. It wasn't all the time so I thought I might be lactose intolerant - I stopped eating dairy. Pain was still there and was getting more frequent. Went to the doctor yesterday who immediately sent me to the emergency room with the possibility it might be appendix. They did an ultra-sound. The tech called in her supervisor and they kept looking at an area just below my rib-cage. "Do you think this real? - I think so - huh" This was kind of how their conversation was going. Long story wasn't my appendix But I do have inguinal endometriosis plus a cyst on my ovary I was sent home with vicodin and have an appointment with my ob/gyn next week.

Has anyone else had this? I've been doing research and it seems kind of rare. I'm preparing myself that I'll have to have surgery but hey, on the positive side - I can eat cheese again

Re: Inguinal Endometriosis

Sorry to hear you are having issues with endo again. Hopefully your doctor is an endometriosis specialist and can get it cleaned out this time around.

Please let us know how things turn out.
