My pathology report. Whew!

I had my daVinci assisted hysterectomy 07/01. Recovery has been almost too easy. No pain meds, not tired, etc. It's been hard to take it easy, but I have been.

Got a call this afternoon about my final pathology report. The tumor was 3 cm. in diameter and it did extend into the myometrium, but only 1/3. It is grade 1. Clear lymph nodes. Clear pelvic wash.

Life is looking good.

I hope the chemotherapy for my breast cancer will start soon and it will be as uneventful.

Re: My pathology report. Whew!

Hi Suzanne. I'm so glad you got a good pathology report back and that you are on your way to recovery from your hysterectomy.

I did a year of CMF chemo and my sis is being treated for HER2 breast cancer, having done two different chemo regimens. Treatment was no picnic, but was entirely doable, so I'm wishing you the very most benefit for your bc and the fewest side effects. Hope you can get started soon, so you can begin the countdown to completion. Keep the goal in mind!
