Strange question

I have been posting and reading on this wonderfulf site for several months and I know basically most questions can be answered, so here goes.
I have a urinary tract infection and feel like I have to go to the bathroom all the time. But on top of that today it feels like my vagina is having spasms. Does anyone know what i'm talking about. I'm 5 weeks post op, and it is the weirdest feeling. I keep thinking something is wrong, so instead of sleeping I was checking the search engine. But couldn't find anyone else with my problem.
If I call the doctor he'll think I've lost my mind, maybe I have!! Let me know if anyone can help.

Strange question

Hi Jillian,
You're paying your doctor big bucks to take care of you.....so call him! I don't think your question is a silly one. I had an urinary tract infection a week after I got home. And on top of the symptoms of that, I was cramping quite a bit, like I was on a period. But, it went away.
Take care of yourself,
Christy

Strange question

Jillian,
No it doesn't sound worried to me, since I am also experiencing the same type of spasms. I am wondering if you also had your cervics removed too. I think it might just be the area healing. I am interested in what your doctor said it was. I am seeing mine today. When it first happened I was concerned but delighted that there was at least feelings in that area.

tummy spasms

I am having the same thing right now...I went to the doctor yesterday and she said I had a bladder infection.

Please go to your doctor and have them check it out. I waited will it got so bad that I was back on my pain meds from the operation. (Ok, yes I am a glutton for punishment too. :-) )

Please let us know what happens!

Kisses and hugs to make you feel better!!!
Cynthia

Strange question

Hi everyone,
Yes I did have my cervix removed and I did go back to the doctor. They are doing a more complex urine check. They think maybe the antibiotics I'm on aren't doing the trick. The doctor mentioned that my bladder also went through some"trama" during the surgery and maybe its just adjusting. He said since my uterus was so large the bladder was pushed way out of the way, and now its back were it should be. Don't you hate when the doctor uses the word "trama"!!!
Any how it will be another 24 hours before I know anything, but as all of us sisters know we've become very good at waiting. By the way I bought something over the counter called Uristat, its a pill that helps with the bladder problem. You can only take it 2 days, but at least I got sleep last night. Keep in touch.
