Changing the Vivelle Dot?

Can someone explain to me the changing of the vivelle dot - every 31/2 days? So...if I put one on Wednesday then I change it Satuday? and I should make the change around 3pm? Or is it not that important to be exact? LOL.
Can you tell it's my first go round?!
Thanks!

Re: Changing the Vivelle Dot?

Since there are seven days in a week and not eight, you can't divide the week into the same number of days. I've been using Vivelle dot for eight weeks now and it doesn't really seem to matter if I put the new patch on in the morning or in the evening! So whatever works for you! If you think you will be out of town on Saturdays or out on the town then pick the morning for a new patch so you won't forget. Just stick with Wednesday and Saturday. If it's easier for you to remember to put the new patch on in the morning after a shower just stick with that!

Re: Changing the Vivelle Dot?

My dr. said to follow the "Baptist" schedule, changing it every Wed. night and Sunday morning. That has been working for me. Thought it was kind of funny that he called it that, but it makes it easy to remember.

[color="Teal"]When you open the box, there is even a little cardboard flap that gives you a reminder for what days of the week you have chosen. I like that "Baptist schedule" line and, since those were my chosen days, I'll remember that!

Re: Changing the Vivelle Dot?

I've always changed it Friday morning and Monday evening... it helps for me to remember "getting ready for the weekend" and "the weekend's over". If you're off by a few hours it's no problem; I notice, though, if I'm a whole day late changing it.
