legs and feet.

I had my surgery on weds came home on thurs and friday was a good day hardly any pain. Today my feet are so swollen I have no ankles. It goes from calf to feet. It is at a 3+. I laid down for awhile and put my feet up. They are still swollen but not as bad. I was wondering should I call the dr or wait till monday to call. I don't have a fever or anything. Just swollen legs and feet.

Re: legs and feet.

How are your feet and legs today? I did not have any swelling in the legs and feet, but then I stayed laying down as much as possible for the first two weeks. I would think that if the swelling does not go down I would call the dr and see what they think.
But make sure you do alot of resting and that means with your feet up and you laying down. Take care of yourself.

Re: legs and feet.

Did this ever happen pre op? If not, or maybe no matter what, my concern is blood clots. So I'd call the Dr and ask if it sounds that way or if dealing with them can wait. Blood clots are a big deal so I wouldn't wait. Let us know what the Dr says, I hope its better soon.
