Pink Discharge almost 3 wks out of surgery????

I'm wondering if anyone else is having/has had a pink discharge, and does it (how much) vary in degrees? I did have one very lightly since I left the hospital (TAH/BSO 7/13, discharged 7/15), and doctor said that it's normal (at checkup to remove staples on 7/21)....but this morning it's heavier....is this part of the healing process or something else

Re: Pink Discharge almost 3 wks out of surgery????

What you're describing sounds normal to me. I had various degrees of spotting after my TVH. I'd spot very lightly some days, some days I didn't spot at all and then other days, I would have heavier pink spotting. Nothing every bright red though. The spotting stopped all together by the end of week 3.

I hope this helps.

Hi,
I'm three weeks out after mine and I'm still spotting and my doctor said it was normal. If it goes red he said to call. I wish the best for you!
