Re: Side effect from estrogen/testosterone combination hormone therapy - what can I d
The clitoral enlargement is a sign of too much testosterone. If I were in your shoes I would discontinue the EEMT in favor of estrogen-only HRT for a while, adding in a tiny bit of compounded testosterone cream if and ONLY if you develop symptoms of too little testosterone later on AND your DR confirms that your levels are low and that you are a good candidate for using testosterone (healthy liver function and cholesterol).
IMHO the trouble with combination HRTs like EEMT is that you cannot adjust the dose of one component without adjusting the other at the same time. For most of us, their cookie cutter doses are not what we need. Separating the hormones makes balancing a much simpler process.
