blood clot

I went to the ED on wed for bleeding and pain it was just like I was having a period. So I called my drs office and I knew he was on vacation for the week but his nurse told me to go to the hospital. So I did and they did an vag ultrasound (ouch) and they found a blood clot/hematoma and they said to rests and drink plenty of fluids. The dr said he could do a exam and stuff but from what the tests showed it would go away on its own. Ok fine. I am still bleeding and pain. My husband is being a jerk and won't help. Looks like I need to call my parents to come and stay to help me with my daughter. I really hate asking for help. I am one who can do it on my own.. man this sucks when you need help.

Did anyone else have one? What did you do to help it? I go to my drs on tues for my almost 3 week check up.

Re: blood clot

Can't speak to the blood clot, but if you need to call in reinforcements then do it. I know its hard, but it is better for you to heal properly than to drag out the process and possibly end up in worse shape than you are.

Hang in there an I hope you start to feel better soon. Sorry you hubby is not being helpful..that stinks.

Re: blood clot

Hey girl, so sorry to hear of this setback..... By all means, call your folks...you need the extra help especially with young children in the home who are used to having Mommy do everything. Like the previous post...sorry bout the hubby...maybe if he knows you are calling upon your folks, he will step up to the plate and help out! We never anticipate any setbacks in our recoveries but I have seen plenty on here and know you need the extra help at home. Hugs to you!
