10 months post op - lump in cuff

On Vivelle .05.
I have been having some mild to moderate pain in the past few months at the end of intercourse. Well, the end for him. I'm having lack of arousal/climax, like things are asleep. So, I went for a check up.

She found a thickened, tender, lump on the right side of the vaginal cuff on the inside (palpable but not seen). Cuff is healed. Lots of white cells on smear and fragile vaginal tissue. After discussion with another doc, it was thought that I'd fare better on more estrogen, so we increased the patch.

Turned out that was NOT a good idea. That lump/adhesion/scar likely has some endo in it that proliferated with the increased estrogen. I gradually developed severe pain over the next 10 days. We switched the patch back down and I'm at square one.

I could add some compounded testosterone to fix the around issues, but that won't change the pain issue from the lump which is tolerable most of the time and doesn't last long. She said that sometimes they have to do same surgery to revise the cuff in situations like this.
Anyone else experience this situation???
