Completely lost and starting to suffer from ovaries being removed

I am new to this forum. I had my hysterectomy last year on July 24. It was a TAH but kept both ovaries. Well now I am post-op 10 days from both ovaries being removed and I am miserable. I am on no HRT. It is either hot flashes or cold chills. My body can't regulate itself and of course not. It took me forever to go to bed the other night because of this. I am not due to see my doctor until July 30th for my post op appointment, but i don't know if I can make it that long. I am miserable.

Re: Completely lost and starting to suffer from ovaries being removed

My first suggestion would be to call your doctor and let them know about your symptoms. While it might be "normal" after such a surgery, they may be able to offer some suggestions as to what you can do to ease the problems you're having.
