Moody after 3 years post-op

Hello all, my name is Jessica and I am new to this site.
I am about 3 years post-op from a complete hystorectomy and lately I have been having some emotional issues and was wondering if anyone here has had the same.
Six weeks after my surgery I started on a hormone pill but my body didnt absorb enough so my dr put me on the Vivelle-dot patch. For the most part it has worked great but lately I have been REALLY moody and irritable. Almost as bad as I was BEFORE HRT. Does anyone know if its possible for my body to become imune to the patch? Or if I should talk to my dr about maybe adding a hormone pill with the patch? Or if any of you have had the same experience please tell me what you did. Thank you

Maybe your ert needs some tweaking. It's not unusual for our hormone needs to change over time. Also, if you are under stress, from illness or other life issues, that can affect your hormone balance. Perhaps it is time for a visit and check up with your doctor.
