Question - Severe Pain (just like menstual cramps), Incontinence and Abdominal pain. Severe Pain (just like menstual cramps), Incontinence and Abdominal pain.

It's been so long since I've been on here, and that's my fault. I should have realized that you ladies are my ONLY friends and people that REALLY understand what I'm going through.

I've been hurting for over a year. The incontinence started in Feb-March. I had my Gall Bladder removed in Dec. 2009, it was VERY full of stones. Woke up Thanksgiving morning in pain, but with it being a Holiday and I didn't have any signs of infection, I had to wait until the following Monday to see a Surgeon, for him to say "Yep, you have Gall Stones, let get that thing outta there. ( But I went back to the ER 2 more times before seeing the surgeon, in so much pain, they just gave me shots and sent me home)

So after seeing the Surgeon, I went home and wound up back in the ER that night, and they just kept me till my surgery 9 hours later. Every since then I have pretty much had diarrhea every day, sometimes as many as 20 times a day.

I was seeing a PCP that didn't listen to me, and when I told him I was still having Abominal pain, he just told me it was scar tissue, and it would subside. Then after me telling him since last September that my B/P was high, he finally put me on High Blood Pressure meds. I take 2 kinds, 3x a day, plus a Small dose of Xanax 3x a day. So After 6 months of me getting SO MAD at him not listening to me about everything going on, I switched doctors. The first thing she did was take Stool Samples, blood and Order a CT of my Abdomen and Pelvis. They all came back fine, except me Triglycerides and Cholesterol is high. So now it's down to seeing a Gyno.

I haven't seen one since just after my LAVH in 2000. Everyone told me I didn't need to, cause I didn't have much to check anymore, and my PCP could check my Ovaries. Plus I didn't have insurance for a long time. Now I do.

I cramp everyday, and live with either the heating pad or my "Buddy bag" on my lower stomach, I constantly pee on myself, like when coughing or laughing or sometimes just clearing my throat, and then when I stand up, a rush of urine comes out. They've checked my urine, No bladder infection or infection of anykind. I just don't know what to do. I thought my pain down there was over with. but NOONE can find anything wrong with me.

I get so depressed because I feel no one understands the pain, and my hubby just doesn't want anymore bills. I'm just lost, PLEASE HELP!!

Re: Severe Pain (just like menstual cramps), Incontinence and Abdominal pain.

I am so sorry you are having so many issues. I really don't have experience with what you are describing but I encourage you to keep seeking medical help until they find the problem. Life is not meant to be lived suffering the way that you are.

I'm glad you came back here for support. I am sending you prayers and great big

Re: Severe Pain (just like menstual cramps), Incontinence and Abdominal pain.

I wonder if you might have some adhesions in your abdomen. I don't think these show up on ultrasound. It sounds like you need a urologist or urogynecologist to me. good luck.
