having a hard time today :(

Hi girls, well day 3 of being back to work and I woke up in pain this morning

I guess it's just the accumulation of activity in the last two days, I want to lie down very very badly......and can't leave work cause my boss has a cold and we're short handed.

how does that saying go.....what doesn't kills us makes us stronger? I must be hercules by now!!!

anyhoo, just had to rant a little, I wonder if anyone would mind if I lied on the floor while answering the phone???

Gidge,
So sorry to hear you are having pain today, I know you have been on this road for awhile now and I was so hoping that this last surgery would be the end of it all for you. I missed work this morning cause of the pain I have been having lately, I know how hard it is to try and function eveyday when you aren't feeling up to it.
Try to rest as much as possible and when you get home, put those jammies on and get those feet up.
sending you lots of 's and wishing you the best.

Gidge,
It could be all the activity. Be prepared for that dreaded 3 week wall. I know I hit it pretty hard after my most recent surgery.

Gidge - I'm sorry you're feeling bad sweetie. It does sound like you need more !

I agree with the dinner plans. I just couldn't deal with dinner last night, so we took taco salads home to munch on them instead. Everything I eat from fast food, a restaurant, etc. has to be take-out now due to my stupid digestive system. Nothing like the comfort of home and my own bathroom!

Hang in there Hon and take care of yourself!

thanx girls, much to my disappointment I have had to take two tylenol 3's today just to be able to function at work........I suppose I should look on the bright side ......two weeks ago I was having to take at least 4 of them at work and morphine at night.......there now don't I feel better!

........it's all how you look at it I guess.......thanx for being there!

Gidge,

Remember that you aren't that far out of surgery, so don't get too discouraged over this pain. You have got to give yourself time to heal. I am hoping that these are just recovery pains and that you will be feeling better and better as each week passes.

s to you.

thanx Lisa, I know all that, I just forget and get discouraged

I think I'm going to ask to leave early anyway and then by the time I get everything done and get home it will be normal time? Worth a shot anyhow!

Gidge ...... I know it is easy to forget all that and to get discouraged. Believe me .... I have felt that way many many times. But you've got to pull yourself up by the bootstraps and keep going. You can't give up ..... I am living proof of that. If I would have given up then I would be still living in pain and wetting myself. So you keep hanging in there, you WILL find an end to This Road.
