Drug-induced funnies...

My kids (I have 5 ranging from 21 down to 12 yrs) 'fessed up last night... apparently the day after my surgery I phoned home. I must have just got my jolt of Morphine because apparently I didn't even say "hi" to them but rather I blurted --

"Has anyone there seen a uterus? Mine is missing and I can't find it!" broke out laughing and then hung up on them.

They didn't want to tell me about my antics too soon because they knew that hard laughter would hurt.

Drug-induced funnies...

I know what you mean....That morphine is heavy stuff!!! The nite of my surgery, my sister and her boyfriend were in to see me. I turned to my sister (43 yrs old) and said, "Isn't it time you pick out your movie for bedtime?" She died laughing. I looked at her and said "Oh my god, I thought you were Haley!" My 4 year old daughter. Then her boyfriend was talking about what hopspital his son was born in. I said, "Oh ya, that would be a good thing to put the coins in!" What?????? I was totally out of it. Kind of scarey!!!! Makes me wonder how anyone can get addicted to those heavy duty drugs! God knows I'll never have to worry about! GROSS!!!!!!

Drug-induced funnies...

I was on morphine. The first they had me sit in the chair they left me there for hours. I kept hitting the morphine button. My mom came and I was so drugged and kept falling asleep. All of a sudden I started laughng My mom said she asked me what was wrong. I told her I could see her behind the curtain trying to play peek a boo with me and I didn't want to play. I also woke myself up alot talking to people who werent there.
