I feel your pain- hardly recognize that old lady looking back at me when I look in the mirror... BUT- I'm very, very grateful to be cancer free without radiation or chemo! Many Blessings!
I'm 60 and almost 3 years post TVH to remove uterine cancer. Since it's an estrogen fed cancer I can't take hormones. And, as you've said, the weight just keeps creeping up... ugh. And like others have said- around my middle. Never had that problem before....I always had a waist...
My new regime is no red meat at all, little chicken or full fat dairy, lots of water, pushing the vegetables hard everyday and much more exercise. Walk the dog, lift light weights, stretching, dancing...at least something everyday.
So - I've lost 5 pounds in the last 6 months. It's not great but it's better than the gaining. I'm trying to think of it all in terms of making better food choices and doing things for my health...I still crave chocolate, though.
I'd love to hear from anybody in terms of ideas, support- whatever...
Grateful to be cancer free...

Now if I can only fit into my old clothes again...
