Re: Whatcha' slackin on today?

Work has worn me out this week too. I'm leaving early today and I'm hoping to put in a full weekend of slacking to make up for it.

Re: Whatcha' slackin on today?

I'm slackin' on slackin', and I want to know how you're supposed to get tired enough to go to sleep at night (without pain meds) when you haven't done anything to get tired??????

I'm not very good at this. Is there a remedial group available?

Re: Whatcha' slackin on today?

It took me almost a week to be able to sleep all night. Pain meds didn't help me sleep, so I quit them after day 5. The main thing that helped me was to quit naps & stay up as late as usual. I walked according to my energy levels & when I wasn't walking, I was doing stuff like writing thank you notes & goofing around on the computer. If your mind doesn't want to slow down, but your body is tired, try word search puzzles, or whatever you like along those lines.

Re: Whatcha' slackin on today?

Am SO enjoying slacking and not feeling a bit guilty!!

Read a great book..Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. Had ordered it a few months pre-op and have been saving it for now. Huge novel, 3 days! Can't wait to read more of her stuff.

I tried washing a few glasses yesterday~~not planning on doing that again any time soon! The strain on my abs was incredible.

Back to slackin'...think it's time for another movie until I can find another great book.

Re: Whatcha' slackin on today?

I don't know if this is a result of too much slacking, but I have developed a boil on my butt. I survive 7 weeks post-op and thought I was in the clear. Now... big ol' painful boil. And of all places, my butt.

I don't want to throw a damper on slacking, but I gotta wonder if it was the cause.

Re: Whatcha' slackin on today?

I'm getting such a kick out of this thread!! Too too funny.

I posted my status on Facebook as Multislacking...later adding: FB to my left, Finding Forrester to my right...napping in between....demanding...!

Everybody is enjoying this multislacker!!

Ah, bored now...guess I'll start on a John Grisham book while checking my Facebook. Better change positions....afraid I too may get a boil on my butt. This is just grueling!!
