The tech areas would not let me post a question there!
I cannot get the smilies to come up - I just get a blank
page! Anyone know what the deal might be? I would
love to post those cute little pics, but how? Help!

HI --

Click on the purple button at the top of the page labeled "user cp". Then click on "user options". AT the bottom of the options page under "Other options" make sure "yes" is checked on the option titled "Use vBCode quick links ......"

That's all I can suggest to help you. Good luck.

I know how much fun it is to use the smilies. Hope this works.

I do it differently

I don't think I do it correctly, but the easiest for me is to go below my post where it says "forum rules".

Where the word smilies is underlined I click on that. It brings up the menu of smilies. At this point you can see the code that makes the smilie and the smilie is shown. I just highlight the highlight the code and do an edit/copy/paste. Or you can simply type the code.

For example you can type (colon)hug(colon) and you get

I tend to type poorly or forget what it was, so it is easier for me to cut and paste. good luck!

Actually, it will work either/both ways!

If you are getting a blank page, it could be a myriad of things, starting with your computer or your connection quality/speed.

Try the suggestions above and let us know how it goes.
