hrt and heart palpitations?

Does anyone know if hrt can cause heart palpitations? I was experiencing a lot of arrythmia for several weeks. While traveling I ran out of my hrt and couldn't get it replaced until I got home two weeks later. I realized then that the hot flashes stopped, the acne went away and I've had no heart arrythmia at all. It's been six weeks w/out the hormones. I'm getting ready to have a fistula repair and read that the hormones are important for healing the vaginal wall and preparing it for surgery. My gyno didn't think my palpitations were related to the hormones until I mentioned this to him. Any thoughts?

HRT imbalance has caused heart palpitations for me. However, other problems can cause this too. It is important to let your Dr know what is going on and allow him/her to determine the cause.
