Re: Have my ovaries, should I be using something for my "symptoms"
I am 43 and have been using bio-identical hrt for over 7 years now. I began supplementing well before I had my hysterectomy. I think if you have symptoms, and you and your doc agree hrt is for you, go for it. I'll never forget the first time I used estrogen. It felt like my brain was having a much needed rest from anxiety/depression.
Do your homework first, learn all you can and then get a knowledgeable doc. This site is a great reference for hormone research. There are a lot of books out too. Looking back at my symptoms, I probably could have used hrt in my early twenties.
Best of luck!
