Chronic bladder/pelvic pain long after tah/vaginal ligament repair

I knew this is the place to post my questions about my recent pelvic pain...hope someone can share some advice.

In August, 3 days before my wedding, I started having some issues with pain in my bladder area that would wake me up. I was not having burning upon urination, but I decided to go to the DR. I was diagnosed with a UTI and after 3 days the pain was growing more intense even after antibiotics. My new husband and I had to cancel our honeymoon because the pain was excruciating. My DR referred me to a urologist. He did a biopsy, hydrodistention and found my bladder in perfect interstitial cystitis. He referred me back to my gyn found nothing wrong with me. He said all my sutures from the vaginal ligament repair were still in place, I had no prolapse...but his exam was so painful. He has now referred me to a general surgeon to check my rectum.
Last week the pain in my bladder started up again and I started bleeding every time I urinated. I was diagnosed with a UTI again, but the pain is really bad again even though I am done with the meds and the bleeding has stopped. I am struggling with constipation...a condition I have had since my teens. I had very extensive endo. prior to my hysterectomy, I am on HRT, I have many permanent sutures suspending my bladder and bowels.....could I have adhesions???? More endo. issues????? Exercising or stretching seems to bring me some relief from the pain. I am having issues emptying my bladder completely. The pain is affecting my sleep, work, new marriage. Any thoughts would be appreciated....thanks ladies.

Re: Chronic bladder/pelvic pain long after tah/vaginal ligament repair

I am so sorry you are still having any pain at all.
I am no doctor, of course. Just wondering, are you still having cysts rupture? Do you still have your ovaries in that case? Then it is still possible to have endo., too and therefore adhesions. It may be time to see an endo specialist. If you go over to the endo board here on Hyster Sisters, you may be able to find more information on these things.

I do hope you find the help and hope you need.
