Re: Swollen ankles

Hi

While too much estrogen or not enough progesterone can both cause swelling, the dose you are on seems very low to me.

I think you should talk to your Dr and let him decide how to best help you with your swelling.

Are you drinking plenty of water?

Let us know what your Dr says.

Re: Swollen ankles

I had my hyster 5 years ago - and have been on viville dot patch 0.0375 since - I gained 15 lbs. very quickly - and have recently lost 42 lbs. - and I tried to come off the patch - but started having headaches - so I put the patch back on - and that's when I noticed the swollen ankles and tightness in the calfs of my legs......My doctor does not do testing on hormones - which i probably what I need.....my dad died of cancer - and had it in his liver - so that's why I was trying to come off patch - don't know if it affects your liver or not!
