TAH & LSO.... Now News on Mammogram UGH!

So I'm 37 and scheduled for a TAH & LSO this coming Friday Dec 10th.... well I had a Mammogram last week and today I get a call saying they spotted something in my left breast! So I have to get an ultra sound done on that... How the hell am I supposed to cope if weird things just keep popping up?

Anyone else dealing with such things?

It's bead enough I have to go through surgery while I have Fibromyalgia, Bipolar, and a Panic Disorder..... I don't know how long I can just hang in there.

Re: TAH & LSO.... Now News on Mammogram UGH!

I am so sorry that you are having everything happen at once!!! Hang in there!! There are times when they do additional testing to confirm that everything is okay. Please try to assume that they are just being diligent. It could be fibroids or just a thickness that is harmless. Take one thing at a time. Prepare for your surgery by getting all the things ready for you. Fresh sheets, reading materials, comforty clothes, funny movies, charged cell phones, music, etc. Rest when you can, and try to do something that is fun before Fri. Best wishes, and please let us know how you are doing with your surgery and the add'l test that are needed. Will be praying for you!!

Re: TAH & LSO.... Now News on Mammogram UGH!

Thank you so much. I went shopping yesterday and got many of the things I will need. Didn't need to buy over sized panties since I have been losing weight and already have some. I try to be positive I really do and when I think I've got it handled something else is dropped in to shake me up again. My mom will be with me throughout surgery and any tests that need to be done. I don't know what I'd do without her. I just need to breathe deeply and concentrate on my music. That always seems to help.

Thank you
