LAVH sudden sharp pain in left pelvis

I was recovering very well, then all of the sudden yesterday I had a SHARP, stabbing pain where my left ovary used to be. It was so severe that I had to take a heavy-duty pain killer to knock me out so I could sleep. It wasn't constant, but came in intervals of like 30 seconds to a minute. I was not doing anything other than riding in a car and walking around. Today, I am back to being sore and that stabbing has gone. Should I be concerned? What do you think it was? Should I call my doctor?

I had a very similar pain last night after dinner. I thought perhaps I pulled an inside stitch. I have not called my doctor yet. I was trying to ride it out. Is your pain gone now?

call your doctor. I am 8 weeks post op, I was recovering great and about 2 weeks ago felt something similar. It came and went, then I got all swollen and I went to see the doctor, they found a large blood hematoma in my abdominal wall. Now it hurts and bothers me a lot. I regret not going to see the doctor when it first happened

i get sharp pains still every time I eat and it seems to end up being gas, and movements, as once I "go" it eases...I have found the gas pain the worst part of this whole thing...I have to labour breathe sometimes till it eases....hope your pain is from something minor like this.

I had a sharp pain like that last night, in my right side, it took my breath away and my husband fell off the bed due to my gasp and scream.

Yes it is like a big one. I wasnt on that much pain. I had and have like a very sharp burning pain sometimes when trying to sit up or lift a leg, etc.... Most of it is the swelling and weight sensation on the belly.
