Strange moods anger

HI friends it has been awhile since I have been on here. I had a full hysterectomy last Sept just three months ago. Well I have been experiencing in the last few weeks me acting out of Character. One minute I was good then everything starts to set me off. I began to have nightmares about Christmas woke up in the middle of the night having an anxiety attack. I never had an anxiety attack before! I mean I started acting weird not myself. Now I have an easy Christmas this year nothing to panic over. I wake up off and on all night no night sweats or anything but constant interruption in sleep. So I walk around exhausted all day.

So finally I called my doctor and am waiting for their office to call me back with a solution. I am on Hormones but they are not working very well for me.

I have even gained all the wight back I lost.

So I am struggling.

Re: Strange moods anger

I was kind of like that, feelings-wise, a while back. Frustration, anger about my situation, and a lot of fear. I went with my good Doc's advice and started Zoloft. I felt better within a week! good luck to you.

Re: Strange moods anger

Sounds to me like hormone imbalance. I have interrupted sleep most nights & I struggle constantly with my changing hormones. Maybe try having your hormones tested?
Hope this helps!

Re: Strange moods anger

I have recently experienced the same thing. WILD mood swings which are really not the normal me. I also started to put back on weight. I went to my gyn and they checked my hormone levels...they were low....they took me off the Vivelle Dot patch and started me on a pill....which didnt work....now they have me on birth control. I really hope it works cuz I dont think I...or my kids...can take much more of me like this.
Good luck to you

Re: Strange moods anger

I had the same problems starting about 3 months after my hyster. I was a raving lunatic and I swear my family wanted to lock me away. It gets better. Talk to your doctor and see what he/she recommends.

Re: Strange moods anger

Gee all this sounds like me..I cant stand beiing in my own skin.agh!!..my moods, crying spells mostly and depression..I am on lexapro for depression but I dont sleep well at night and wake up an all day tired and not being productive.I am 3 months since surgery as well. Now I dont feel like Im going nuts by myself, all you ladies are too..(lol) I take estroven but doesnt seem to work all the time,The hot flashes can last on and off all day or like today Ive had two so far.some days more then others.
I have gained some weight back I had been on Atkins and lost 50+ then add the surgery another 12+,but 5 lbs isnt too much to gain but I need to get back to my routine...exercise is good but to make myself do it takes discipline and determination not good on this nowadays. I hope all of you ladies get to feeling better soon.
