Recurrent hernia repair and lysis of adhesions

I have surgery scheduled Jan 4 to repair an incisional hernia and he is going to clean up adhesions and then put in a barrier. He said the hernia was about 1cm (don't know if that's wide or deep?) And that there are a couple places he wants to look at by looking at my pain diary and his abd hand manipulation (which about killed me!). So right now just getting ready for ANOTHER surgery, and just hoping that it finally ends my fight with adhesions, pain, and hernias. Keep pushing girls, someone will understand, or at least believe in the pain you feel.

I hope your surgery goes well for you next week! It sounds like your doctor is taking all of your concerns seriously and hopefully will be able to find and address all your sources of pain!

Keep us posted!
