Question? Issues with yeast?

Hello Ladies,

I have a unique question. Is anyone else on here having issues with yeast? I am about 5'8" and 180lbs. So I have never been fat by any means. However I have now developed yeast rash in my skin folds. Behind my knees, my groins, my elbows, and other places. My suspicion is because of the menopause I am going through. Does anyone else have these issues? The hotflashes are KILLING me... I don't want to take any synthetic hormones. I am hoping that this one ovary is gonna kick in a little better over time. In the meantime I have lots of meds. Diflucan pills, Nystatin powder, Greer's Goo cream... It's just miserable to itch and burn in weird places all the time...

Re: Question?

I've had some yeast but not that bad. Have they already checked your blood sugars, not just one time but the test that reflects levels over several weeks? That would be my 1st suspicion and probably already checked but if not, I'd ask about it. It's miserable, I've had it in the past, too, and I don't think of it fondly! I hope you get relief soon and your ovary kicks in, too.

Re: Question? Issues with yeast?

I just saw my dr for that very same thing yesterday. He said it is a common yeast infection for some women and gave me a script for a cream to apply. I have it uner my boobs..so no bra for 7 days.

Question - Question? Issues with yeast? Re: Question? Issues with yeast?

I love beer. I work long hours and come home and have a few each night... i think the yeast in the beer is contributing to this condition of mine!
what do you think?

Re: Question? Issues with yeast?

Well there are also carbs in it I think, so between that and yeast, who knows? Maybe a trial of no alcoholic beverages for a month to test the theory?

Re: Question? Issues with yeast?
