Hot Flash Reductions

I am 3 months into my recovery,I started having menopause symptoms about 4 weeks after surgery,I had a full hysterectomy here lately the hot flashes happen severeal times a day into the night.This morning I was sleeping soundly(imagine that)& the moment I awoke I had a hotflash! But I been noticing its more frequently and wanted some suggestions from the ladies what helps you and how I may be able to help with mine.

Non med helps: usually there are some foods that aggravate the situation and if you find yours and avoid them it helps. Alcohol, sugar, caffeine, spicy foods are some common ones. At night a fan, and Chillow or similar thing can help. I had a remote control fan for the on/off convenience. Herbals like Estroven help some ladies. Not sure if those will help you because everyone is a bit different but they might be something to try. Good luck.
