OH has decided he has had enough

have been suffering with all the usual stuff, lack of sleep, hormones etc.
really struggled just before christmas..to the point i wanted to disappear.
long story short,my OH decided to tell me tonight that he cannot live here anymore.he asked me to move back with him to his house which he knows i won't do for varying reasons(and he knows the reasons!).
have told him to go...can do without all this right now.but would rather be on my own with my kids than living with someone who doesn't feel it's important to discuss 'family' issues....can't even cry as i have a rotten cold and cannot breathe properly anyway!
never rains but it pours eh?
happy new year...
xx

Re: OH has decided he has had enough

thanks molly,
as if we haven't got enough to deal with...
i don't know if we can work this out.am not strong enough emotionally at the moment.
this is out of character for my OH.he actively encouraged me to have this surgery and now i feel he is wishing i hadn't because i am not back at work yet....
we both have children and have lived together for the best part of 2 and a half yrs(together for a yr prior to that).
he has stopped talking to me,discussing 'family' things with me and then he wonders why i am grumpy!!
i have got the hormones under control, which is just aswell considering having this dumped on me!!!
hope it is just a rough patch...time will tell...
thanks again and hope you're healing well...
xx

Re: OH has decided he has had enough

I am sorry that you are having to deal with this in addition to recovering. I know that my mom had gotten totally stressed out by my problems after dealing with it for the last several years. we live together so it was tense for awhile but now she is able to handle things better. I also have a counselor who I can dump on and also you guys who do understand how stressful and emotional this can become. Take care of yourself and let yourself heal. Your health is job 1 right now and hopefullly everything else will sort itself out. sending tons of hugs and support.

Re: OH has decided he has had enough

Im so sorry you are having to deal with this right now on top of recovery. Know that we are all here for you. My DH is stressing us all out right now in my house but so far (crossing fingers) nothing really major. I completely understand when it rains it pours...thinking of you.

Is DH and OH the same thing?

carliefarlie43..I really hope things improve for you.

I have been on my job for 17 years, and there have been times when it is my only constant in my life.

Take care,

Re: OH has decided he has had enough

It certainly can be tough. Try to make sure you are getting enough sleep. You sound like me when I couldn't sleep and wasn't able to solve any kind of problem. Hope you can enjoy the weekend

Re: OH has decided he has had enough

Hey there carliefarlie43,

Im sooo sorry you are having to go through all this on top of everything else. I dont think men are able to comprehend what we have gone through and still enduring throughout our recovery. Although my hubby has been a rock, there have been times, when Ive been an emotional wreck that he was worried I was "going strange"and that was the last thing I wanted to hear.
It is so hard at any time when a relationship is breaking down especially now when I guess you are still feeling weak and vulnerable. I truly wish I had some words of wisdom for you hun, all I can say is focus on the future, as I said in another post, look at this positively as hard as it may seem, its a new year and a new you. You deserve to be loved, understood and supported. Dont worry about the things you cant change just focus on the things you can, and remember that what does not kill us makes us stronger.
Thinking about you and sending hugs! Be strong, and keep your chin up hun, all the best.
Take care x
