Are there any other non christians out there? I tend to lean towards an ecclectic concept of taking what works for me n hubs. I dont want to ruffle feathers as it were, but I cant be the only one out here.

Re: Non-christians?

You aren't. What you believe is up to you and really is no one else's business.

Re: Non-christians?

They probably don't have the answers to your questions. I know that some people do put a religious slant on some of the posts but that is because of their beliefs and it makes them feel better. Who am I to criticize that? The reverse is also true. I think this is a very accepting community and we all help each other when we can.

Re: Non-christians?

Dianna, I am so sorry you feel that others are slighting you. That should not be happening. It should not matter what one believes in regard to religion. We are all women here and we all have questions that need answering. I truly hope you feel more welcome in the future and get the answers and help you desire.

Re: Non-christians?

I think I read one of your posts. I did not get a sense of what your beliefs were from your post, not that it would have mattered. Generally we answer posts that we have experience with or that touch us in some way. I don't think it matters what you are. Religion is a personal choice...I am a Christian and I don't judge...we were all given a choice. I am also sure that there are some other religious denominations here but everyone is respectful.

Re: Non-christians?

I haven't noticed anything about beliefs in almost anyones posts except a few here and there, and I'd be only assuming they are Christian. I hope that everyone can accept that others religious beliefs are private and just respect that. I've never seen any religious disrespect here so I'm hoping there is another explanation for any conflicts. Everyone should be welcome and respected. i

Re: Non-christians?

I sure hope no one really feels that way or has purposefully said anything to make you feel you aren't welcome with open arms. There are a lot of different beliefs represented among us but we are all bound by the fact that we are women and we have all experienced a hysterectomy.

We may find comfort in different places, but we all need each other and the help and encouragement we have gained through our experiences. Please know you are unconditionally loved and accepted here.

Re: Non-christians?

I'm openly wiccan, though this is the first time I've mentioned it on the site. I don't think I've felt any overly christian bias or pressure to be christian, in anything I've read here, (granted I haven't paroosed the prayer request section, but in a way i'm happy it is there for those of us who are christian and feel support knowing others are praying for us.) I think that there are a lot of people who just read posts and don't post much, but then again that's part of what this site is for. Support, whether it's just reading a post and learning you're not alone, or answering questions you feel you've some helpful insite into. I know I tend to be long wind-ed when I write so I tend to not comment unless I feel I've got something new to add, and it might be worth the long read involved.
So Hugs to you, and now I also know I'm not alone in not being christian on this site, so thank you for this post!
