Advice for Weight Gain, Hair Loss?

Since my hyst. on June 17, 2010, my hair has become thin and brittle to the point that I started wearing a wig. I've also gained weight and have been totally unable to take it off - no matter what I try. Suggestions or ideas, anyone?

Also, I'm having post-surgery pain and am not sure what to think since there's nothing left in there! I suppose it could be scar tissue or adhesions, but I don't want to have another surgery to find out! It seems to get worse when I'm aroused - like down where they closed the vagina or between the vagina and rectum somwhere...

Hi, what kind of pain are you having? I had my hysterectomy in March, the doc removed everything including my cervix. About a month ago I started having some minor pelvic pain and lower back pain. I also started having issues with some dribbling after urinating. My gynecologist couldn't find anything vaginally, so he sent me to a urologist who thinks I have I C. Something to do with the lining of the bladder wearing away. I also feel bloated sometimes.

So sorry to hear that. My pain is like a small cramp - like the "endo pain" I used to have before my surgery - - only they didn't find endo during my hysterectomy. Yours sounds a bit different...I really hope you get to the bottom of it and it works out for you. Blessings -
