Question - Hrt Hrt

I had a hysterectomy on Feb 1, 2010. They left my right ovary and tobe and on Feb 8th, 2011 they are going to have to go back in and "finish up the job". They said I will be using Hormone Replacement Therapy and I don't know much about this. What does it do? Does it help? Can someone help me out?

Re: Hrt

So sorry you have to go through another surgery. The hormone stuff is very confusing. I have checked out probably about 5 different books from the library that have been very helpful. "Sudden Menopause" was probably the most helpful and I actually read about it on this site initially.
