Unhappy - Started divigel 2 days ago, very nauseated Started divigel 2 days ago, very nauseated

Had a laparoscopic hysterectomy 3 weeks ago (ovaries gone also, kept cervix). Bloating, gas and hot flases seem to be my biggest problems. My doctor started me on Divigel 2 days ago (1mg twice a day) I have been feeling very nauseated, more than before I started the hormone. Not sure if this is just something my body will adjust to or what.

Any help would be greatly appreciated Also, if anyone has suggestions for the bloating and gas pain.

Thank you

I had lots of nausea in the beginning. It took some time and patience before things settled down for me. I was drinking lots of ginger ale and also tried Emetrol.

Thanks Kim, I will try to muddle through. Also did you happen to notice if the divigel also made you more bloated. It seems like the bloating is getting worse since I started divigel and I'm not sure whether it is part of the process or the divigel is contributing.

Re: Started divigel 2 days ago, very nauseated

I had the same thing.. But I stopped using it after 4 days because each day my stomach got worse and nearly vomited. I see my MD tomorrow to discuss. So I will know if I have to push through it or if something else will work.

I did great side effects wise with the patch but it irritated my. Skin from the adhesive, so I might need a third option.
