Should I be concerned ( kids mentioned)

3 weeks ago I had a laprascopic hysterectomy. I've been doing really good, pushing myself a little hard ( Okay...too hard) but am trying to reel myself back into line. Yesterday my special needs 2 1/2 yr. old did his normal run across the room & head butt Mom in the tush. Only I turned around before he did it and he connected. Instant pain and instantly my belly was swelling up. I grabbed an ice bag and sat down. This morning I am so sore, not as swollen & I feel sick to my stomach when I bend over. Should I be worried?

Re: Should I be concerned ( kids mentioned)

My New World,

First of all, sloooooooooooow down. I know what it's like to want to be back to normal, I am the same way.

Now, how are you feeling today? Shortly after my lavh/bso one of my yorkies pounced on my belly. Let me tell you, it HURT. I called the doctors office and the nurse said to take it easy and watch for bleeding.

It wouldnt hurt to give the office a call but certainly take it easy.

I'd say it's definitely worth, at minimum, a call to your Doc's office to see what they recommend!
