I'm home

I'm home....

Tired, wishing I could go to the bathroom... But home.

Everything was contained and all in the precancerous stage.

I have never worked so hard at anything (going home early). my surgery lasted 5-6 hours but i wanted up the next day as I wanted to go HOME.

Thankfully that is where I am at now...

I will write more later....

Oh Gina, this is wonderful news! Now please take it easy and don't push yourself!! You must pamper the princess!! It always breaks my heart to hear of women who push themselves in hopes of a quicker recovery or that they feel so good, and then are only faced with painful adhesions months later. Be good to yourself dear and know that we are here for you!

Glad you are home

GinaMae,

You have been on my heart all week and I'm so glad you posted that you are home. I searched under your name to find you as you did not post on the pre-op board where I usually am.

Rest, get well and be healthy!

I'm home

Thank you for all of your good wishes... and I know I need to listen to the best advise in the world... which is the advice from HERE!

I try and push myself too much, I know I did that the first day home and now I seriously regret it. That and I haven't perfected how to get out of bed without straining. I was in so much pain last night I woke up at 2 and 5 am grabbing for darvocet.

Today (Thanksgiving) I just sat around with my feet up. Feeling better I thought... hey... maybe I could go out tomorrow with the rest of the Christmas rush and do some shopping!

But... I know all of you are right. I hope you also know that I listen better to any of you than my own family...

(PS... I truly feel like an old woman now... I never thought I would be so happy about going to the bathroom!)
