How do you cope with hot flashes?

How much do acupuncture treatments generally cost??

It's been a while since I had them but at the time it was about equivalent to the cost of an MD basic visit. Some insurance will cover it or at least a certain number of visits per year. I had no coverage and it got pricey.

My initial visit was pricey, $250, insurance covered it partially. Don't remember how much as that was almost 8 years ago. After the initial visit, the cost is $80. After I meet my deductible for out of network I am reimbursed 65% of the cost. This has changed over the years, used to be 70% and my deductible for out of network has also gone up. For my issues, it is worth the cost. I am not going for hot flashes or menopause symptoms but for other issues.

A friend gave me deep relies peppermint oil. It comes in a small bottle with a roller ball attached. You roll it on the back of your neck and it does provide some relief. I am new at this only 5 weeks post op so I am still feeling my way around.

I have tried soy milk in my tea (as I have read that soy doesn't cause hot flashes) and it works, plus I have realized I actually like it!
