9 1/2 weeks post op...lower back pain and pelvic pain

Ok sisters, I need some advice....
I had a TVH with ant/post repair, bladder lift and mini arc. This was my first full week back at work and I'm in pain! I stand 8 hours a day at my job and lift 25 lbs. My lower back is so sore it radiates up my spine and down the front of my legs. I am also having pelvic discomfort(like a pulling feeling) when I stand and walk. As soon as I sit down the pain is relieved. I don't know if this is from me still healing or something more serious. Starting to feel worse now then before my surgery. HELP! If any of you could let me know if you've had similar issues or advice please post......

I'm not as far along as you, but how about a back brace? You can buy them at Wal-Mart or Walgreen, etc. Don't forget your abs are probably weakened from the surgery and you are relying on the back a lot.

A back brace might help. Also, check your lifting posture. Bend at the knees, etc.

If you are not, have you considered orthotics for your shoes if you are standing? How about those thick compression stockings?

As to the other, stretching, I'd call my doctor.

Re: 9 1/2 weeks post op...lower back pain and pelvic pain

So I went bowling tonite (league ) and no issues. It must just be me standing for 8 hours on a cement floor!
I've had a really good recovery with the exception of this.
Just hoping it doesn't last much longer!
