Pellets Post Surgery Any different???

Question for you guys.

I've been on pellets over a year going through Perimeno etc. Only HRT that seemed to work for me. Helped with my migraines as well.

I had my hyster/bpoo/cervix removed Jan 20 and had no migraine (other than at the surgery) for almost two months
:jump New pellets Feb 5.... All of a sudden I'm starting to have night sweats and migraine battles.

Has ANYONE found that the pellets work any differently post surgery? They usually last me 3-4 months so it's weird to have them all of a sudden stop working at 2.....

Any insight?

I think it makes sense that what worked prior to surgery, while you still had your ovaries, isn't going to be adequate post-op minus your ovaries. Even after menopause the ovaries produce beneficial hormones. With your hormone-producing ovaries gone, it's logical that hormone needs would also change, whether one is using hormone pellets or any of the other hormone therapy products.

Keep a journal of your symptoms and contact your doctor about the concerns you have. It may take some tweaking of dosing to get you feeling back on an even keel.
