Divigel??
Is there any reason why Divigel can not be rubbed on the inner arms, between wrists and elbows? I know the pamphets says to rub on thighs, but I think I absorb it better on my arms.

Re: Divigel??
I have been using it on upper arms/wrists for 7 months now. I do not feel well/absorb well on inner thighs either.
I called the co. and spoke with a pharmacist, she told me that they tell you inner thighs because that area is where the clinical study participants applied it. I haven't asked my Dr. yet, but i think it is safe to apply inner arms.

Re: Divigel??
Hi NJ2CA,, Thanks for responding. The main reason I am asking this is because you are always told not to apply gel/patch above the waist. I just feel so more energized when apply it to my arm area.

Re: Divigel??
I just started using it & my Dr said it can be applied to the thigh or arm but not on breasts. I have been applying it to my thigh because I am afraid my kids will rub against my arms or my dogs may lick it.

Re: Divigel??
Hi Ironranger,, thanks for the info from your dr. I continue to use it on my inner arms below the elbow. I will be seeing my dr. this fall and talk to her about it too. I don't have any kids at home anymore so don't have to worry about that. And hubby is usually gone by the time I apply it in the mornings, so not a concern there. I really like this estrogen a lot better than I did the vivelle dot. Seems to get into your system better and you don't run low. And I was on the dot for several years. Thanks again

Re: Divigel??
I don't use Divigel, but try to read about all the options out there to figure out what I can use in my arsenel.
My only thought about applying to the arms--your arms would most likely come into contact with your chest/upper body--much more likely than if you applied it to your legs. Maybe this warning is one way to keep you from getting it too close to your breasts or having it transfer to somewhere else it's not supposed to go?

Re: Divigel??
spauer,, yes that could be a concern about cominng in contact with my breast. So to make sure I don't, I always put my bra on first before applying the divigel to my forearms. And I never go above the elbows.

Re: Divigel??
thats different-- I was a former estrogel user and it was applied on your arms from shoulder to wrist. must be because its not as strong as divigel.
