Re: Summer & looking forward

I am looking forward to going on VACATION without having to pack tons and tons of tampax and pads{ I cleaned out the bathroom cabinet in the camper and found alot more storage space}I won't have to pass up going sight seeing because of heavy bleeding and cramps. I can lay on the beach without worry. Can have SEX with DH whenever I want {hope DH can keep up}. Will not have to plan trips around Aunt Flo{even though I tried before and Aunt Flo decided to come along anytime she wanted to}Bye-Bye Aunt Flo, sorry but I won't miss you!!! Looking forward to a great summer. I feel better already. A Great Summer To All!!!

Lol, thanks for that, the dance.

Thanks to you, Tituba, for this great idea for a thread. It's not just the Princesses-to-be who are benefitting from it. How amazing for us all to be able to look forward with such confidence and happy anticipation - you've made my day!

Re: Summer & looking forward

I am looking forward to our 5th Anniversary trip to the Lake on our ACTUAL anniversary - we were going to have to postpone it because prior to my LAVH the calendar told me "Ha ha! No way Jose!". This will the first time I won't be having my period on our day!

Re: Summer & looking forward

Thanks for sharing ladies, you've made my day, good health and much love and laughter to you all.

PS - have you changed your handbags yet, I'm a big of a bag freak and suprised myself by finding loads of tampons/liners hidden here, there and everywhere......

Re: Summer & looking forward

Tituba, yes, I cleared out my handbag yesterday. When I repacked it with only the things I now need (no longer the vast supply of sanitary protection and spare underwear) it will now close easily. It looks like a lady who has lost a lot of weight, and still sags, lol! Or I could compare it to my own post-op tummy

Re: Summer & looking forward

I look forward to not having severe anemia, bleeding, cramping, dizziness, throwing up and and pain. Without anemia, I will be able to walk more. I can go to the store or ANYWHERE without worry about whether I will starting bleeding profusely.

I look forward to not having to track every bathroom in every location just in case my small bladder (compressed by the HUGE uterus) had to go! And needing to KNOW where every bathroom was just in case the bleeding wasn't stopped by huge tampons and pads. And I look forward to not having bloodstained, linens, clothing, and underwear!

I look forward to feeling clean down there! Ah! Freshness.

I look forward to having different conversations with my friends and not about how the constant, scary bleeds were ruining my life and health.

And, I look forward to exercising without blood and clots squirting out due to any exertion. Ugh!

Most of all, I look forward to never having to think about, talk about or write about the effects of bleeding out!

Re: Summer & looking forward

Sassine, sounds as if we had very similar ghastly experiences over the last few years... I haven't quite grasped that all of that is OVER...

I am looking forward to going to the beach whenever I want, wearing light colored pants/shorts, having sex whenever the mood hits us.
