Re: Summer & looking forward

I look forward to:

not having migraines during that time of the month

being able to swim when I want to

getting to go deep sea fishing with family with not having to say "I can't go"...

Re: Summer & looking forward

Carry on ladies, give me some more looking forward too's.

I'm also looking to saving the money I would have spent on sanitary wear and spending it once a year on something totally frivolous.

*Camping anytime I want
*Swimming
*Spending the money I use to buy tampons, pads & pain medicine with on pedicures & manicures!!
*Not having to tell my kids "We can't go or do ________ cause mama is too sick to go"!!!!!!

Re: Summer & looking forward

Last Sept my husband and I went to Disneyland to run the half marathon. We arrived on Thursday morning. We actually had to end up leaving Disneyland that night because of my period and had to take it pretty easy the next day to get me through the worse of it. I felt so bad for my husband. We were on vacation and had to go back to the hotel because of me! No more of that:-)

Re: Summer & looking forward

Swimming, swimming, swimming. It's been 2 years. Wore light colored pants one week after the surgery. No towels on chairs and on the bed. No PMS, no cramping, no aching breasts. Live my life without worrying when my period is coming and the mess it brings. This will be my best summer since the summer of 1974. Life is good.
