post hyst no sleep body aches anxiety

Hi Just had Davinci total hyst On March 16th. I had several set backs including severe infection(hospitalized 3 days) Loss of bladder control, UTI. Been on Antibiotics for a month now. Feeling better from surgery, but have been so RESTLESS, body aches, unable to sleep and temp fluctuations, first I am freezing then dry hot, then clammy sweats. I was told I would feel so much better after this surgery, I have no energy at all. Considering talking to doc about HRT. I dont know enough about it tho. Just want to feel like myself again.

I'm sorry that you've had a rough recovery and hope you are through the worst now with smooth sailing as you continue to heal.

I started hormone therapy the day after my surgery and I've been using it ever since--over nine years now! To me it makes sense to use it because even at my age of 55, my ovaries, if I had kept them, would have been producing beneficial hormones. Using hormone therapy gives me back some of what I would have been producing naturally. I can't imagine not using hormones--they really do help me feel my best.
